Adobe Creative Suite 5

In Adobe Creative Suite 5 there are four categories to choose from: Design Premium, Web Premium, Production Premium and Master Collection. Here is an overview of which product is best for you. On the Adobe website you can type in your specific work project needs and you will be able to click to receive recommendations from Adobe about which Creative Suite is right for you. Under photography I selected Import and Organize images, Edit Digital Images. Under Print Production I chose Design Page Layouts for Print, Prepare and Preflight PDF files, Prepare or Edit Digital Images for Print. Under the Design heading I chose Prepare Images for Print, Web and Interactive, Create Vector Graphics for Any Media, Design Layouts for Print and Digital Docs, Build and Maintain Standards Based Web Pages, Deliver Dynamic Content in PDF. Under Web Design and Development I chose Design Dynamic Webpages, Use Print-Quality Typographic Functionality, Design and Prototype for Mobile Devices and Smartphones. Under Video and Audio Production my choices were Capture and Edit any Type of Video, Deliver Video to Any Screen, Create and Edit Audio for Videos, Create Motion Graphics and Visual Effects, Create Video for use in Flash. I was “told” that the Master Collection would best suit my needs. Here’s a list of the contents on Adobe CS5 Master Collection:
